While working for a global consulting firm, Stacey fell into the real estate investment game by accident. What she didn’t know, though, was that her life would change forever with that one property purchase. After a few short months of renting out that “accidental” real estate investment, Stacey quickly realized that she had an appreciating asset on her hands and: • Someone else was paying her mortgage • Her bank account was growing each month • She was earning tremendous tax benefits Seeing first-hand the power of real estate as a wealth building tool, Stacey decided to take the leap and invest in more properties. Fast forward to today, Stacey has a 7-figure investment portfolio and was able to successfully pivot her investing approach when the global pandemic hit. When eviction moratoriums started popping up due to COVID-19, Stacey shifted her focus from long-term rentals to the game-changing strategy of short-term rentals. I got “bitten by the STR bug” and have never looked back! In just over a year Stacey bought and rehabbed 8 beachfront properties – turning them from “ugly ducklings” to beautiful, relaxing vacation retreats. And her strategy paid off! She enjoyed a healthy cash-on-cash return within 12 months and began helping others learn how to do the same. Stacey continues to grow her STR portfolio, owns a rapidly-growing co-hosting and property management service, and is passionate about helping others. She provides education via 1-to-1 consulting, group coaching, live events, and online courses. Her signature approach is teaching others how to set themselves up for success, grow their wealth, and live their best life. She is the founder of the Female Short-Term Rental Investors Facebook group and The Short-Term Rental Society, a member-based online community for STR hosts and vendors.
