This bold decision paid off, leading to over $10 million in annual recurring revenue and $30 million in funding. Their most successful marketing tactic turned out to be hosting their own events, which not only generated valuable content but also fostered a strong community. Initially, they thought they had overinvested in customer support, but they soon realized that this high-touch approach was key to driving word-of-mouth referrals.
