S1E2 - Phaethon and the Sun Chariot

This episode of "Greeking Out" adapts the Greek myth of Phaethon, the son of Helios, the sun god. Phaethon, feeling insecure about his parentage, seeks out his father and asks to drive the sun chariot across the sky for a day to prove his lineage. Despite Helios's warnings about the dangers, he grants Phaethon's wish due to a promise. Phaethon loses control of the chariot, causing chaos and destruction on Earth. To prevent further disaster, Zeus intervenes and strikes down Phaethon with a thunderbolt.
