S5E2 - Pygmalion and Galatea

The podcast episode tells the Greek myth of Pygmalion, a sculptor who falls in love with his own statue, Galatea. Annoyed by the women who model for him, Pygmalion vows to create statues from memory, seeking perfection in his art. He creates a statue of a woman so beautiful that he falls in love with it, treating it as his wife. Aphrodite, the goddess of love, witnesses Pygmalion's devotion and decides to bring Galatea to life, granting Pygmalion his wish of having a human wife.
